Kerala Wild Life
Kerala is
a botanist’s delight. God’s own country (or the land
of Paradise) is a home of wide variety of birds and animals. It
has few of the excellent wildlife preserves in Kerala. Kerala

enthusiast and those in pursuit of spirituality. The heaven for

Periyar wildlife
sanctuary is the oldest in Kerala and is located to the South
of Cardamona Hills between the Anamali Hills and Palani Hills
in the north, the Varshanad Hills on the South. Silent Valley
is among the world’s last surviving rain forests. It is
famous for orchids and home to many endangered flora and fauna.
Kerala is home to Devikulam, Kumarakom, Thattekad bird sanctuary,
Peerumeedu and the Wynad sanctuary. For the nature lover, Kerala’s
wildlife sanctuaries offer some of the best sights ever.
