Overview of Apsara Konda Waterfalls

Apsarakonda Falls is an ancient and enchanting waterfall located in Kelginoor, Karnataka. The name translates to 'pond of the angels,' steeped in the legend that celestial beings chose this serene location to bathe and relax. The waterfall flows down through the roots of a sacred peepal tree into a crystal-clear pond below, creating hidden natural caves known as the Pandava caves where the Pandavas allegedly stayed during their exile. Surrounded by dense woods, the area also features a picturesque hillock viewpoint overlooking the Arabian Sea, a branch of the Ramachandra Mutt, and nearby temples.
