Maravanthe is a picturesque village and a very popular beach destination located about 50 kms from Udupi in Karnataka. It is widely celebrated for its unique geographical setting where National Highway 66 runs with the Arabian Sea on one side and the Souparnika River on the other, creating a mesmerizing scenery. At sunset, the crimson sky and golden rays reflect in both the sea and the river, making it look like an enchanted fairyland.
