Pilikula Nisarga Dhama
Pilikula literally means 'Pond of Tigers'. In the Tulu language, 'pili' means tiger and 'kula' means lake. In olden days, tigers used to come to this lake to drink water, hence the name. Developed by the Pilikula Nisarga Dhama Society, this area has become a major eco-educational and tourism hotspot in Mangaluru, Karnataka.
