Savandurga is a fortified hill located about 60 km from Bangalore near Magadi, Karnataka, India. Rising to an enormous height of approximately 1,200 meters above sea level, it is considered one of the largest monolith hills in Asia. Historically, it served as a formidable stronghold for the Magadi Kempegowda and was later fortified and strengthened by Tippu Sultan. Its steep and rugged terrain made it virtually impregnable, famously resisting capture by the British army during conflicts.

At the base of the hill lie two prominent ancient temples dedicated to Lord Narasimha and Lord Veerabhadra, drawing both spiritual seekers and history enthusiasts.
