Located approximately 35 km away on Magadi Road in Karnataka, the Thippagondanahalli Reservoir—also known as the Chamarajasagar Reservoir—is built across the river Arkavati. Constructed as the oldest reservoir for supplying drinking water to North Bangalore, it stands as an important engineering landmark of the region.
Below the reservoir, a beautifully landscaped garden has been developed, offering a serene environment for visitors. A modern circuit house is also available for official use and visitors.
