Kukkal Caves: (40 kms.) This is a historical place as it is said that it was once a habitat of ancient cavemen. It is now a favourite camp site for trekking.
Kodaikanal can be reached by excellent roads. Regular bus services are available from most of the cities in South India. Taxis and autorickshaws can be hired for local sight seeing on the hills.
